At Poodles & Friends, we love turning everyday moments into playful little adventures. Our new ASMR Collection brings together food-themed animation, gentle kitchen sounds and soft instrumental jazz—with the hope of inspiring curiosity about preparing, cooking and enjoying food.
Our first adventure is Lily’s Bubble Pasta, starring a fluffy little poodle with an innocent face and a very busy kitchen!
Why kitchen sounds?
Cooking is full of sounds we sometimes overlook: dry pasta rattling in a bowl, a spoon folding a thick mixture, or spaghetti softly sliding as we stir. We wanted to give these small moments a starring role. ASMR focuses on close, detailed sounds, and our animations pair them with simple, repeating actions that viewers can watch at their own pace.
Lily’s first video has four playful scenes: lollipop licking, spaghetti eating, dry pasta stirring and imaginary bubble pasta mixing. It is a little kitchen fantasy, made to spark interest and bring a smile.
Why add jazz?
We chose soft instrumental lo-fi jazz to give Lily’s kitchen a warm, cosy atmosphere. With no talking or singing, there is room to notice the movements, textures and food sounds. Some viewers may enjoy the music most; others may prefer the little stirring and eating sounds. Everyone has their own favourites.
Inspiring a happy relationship with food
Our wider aim is to encourage interest in making food, cooking together and enjoying a varied, balanced diet. That curiosity might begin with a simple question: What happens when we stir? How does uncooked pasta feel? What colours could we add to our dinner? Away from the screen, families can explore those questions through small, age-appropriate activities—washing vegetables, mixing ingredients or helping prepare a meal with adult supervision. Healthy eating is the direction we want to explore across the collection. Lily’s lollipop is a playful treat, while future adventures can introduce more everyday ingredients, colourful foods and simple preparation.
More little adventures to come
Lily’s Bubble Pasta is the beginning of our food-themed ASMR Collection. We look forward to creating more familiar actions, interesting textures and gentle musical moments.
Our hope is simple: to make the kitchen feel like a place for curiosity, creativity and time together.
